This is a hand forged steel hoof pick & scraper. After showing my ideas to a Ferrier friend of ours he recommended this design from a pick a friend of his made for him 20 years ago. We added a little twist to the handle not just for looks but for grip. Fits good in my jeans when checking my horse's hoofs before a ride checking the fence line.
The size is an average of 6" long x 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" pick scrapper width, out of square bar. We now offer two other sizes for larger hands. They are wax sealed to help slow down the rusting. You can help by oiling it occasionally once you start using it.
Our moto is "Do it right or get off the horse". Also, whatever I make to sell, I try first.
Everything I make is custom made by hand so no two items are identical, so yours is unique. All of my work will be marked with a double X brand "XX".
