This mesquite cutting board is a great conversation starter, my friends and family have been using them for years and have been very happy with them. They are made up of seasoned mesquite wood and inlayed with real turquoise (from Arizona) on top with food grade epoxy (turquoise on the top only). This particular one has hand forged used horseshoes handles with feet.
The board is 25 5/8" long including handles, the wood part is 20 3/4" long, 8 1/8 wide and 1" thick. The top of handles is 4 3/4" high.
It has been soaked in mineral cutting board oil several times. When you are using it and after a few cleanings (NOT SOAKED IN WATER) I would rub a little mineral oil on it to keep it lasting. We'll send some instructions with it.

PS. - If you aren't familiar with mesquite it's a hardwood common in south Texas with great grain patterns. I like to refer to them as the South Texas Willow Tree.
